Debut at #6 on Billboard’s Top 10 Album Chart – God Didn’t Choose Sides

This special project has been all over Amazon Best Sellers charts over the last week – reaching #1 on the Folk/Traditional Folk numerous times and ranking as high as #115 in music for all genres.

Last week, Sirius XM Radio’s Bluegrass Junction aired a Track by Track for the album. Host, Kyle Cantrell interviewed Sam Passamano (Executive Producer), Steve Gulley (Album producer) and Mark “Brink” Brinkman (Songwriter) where they discussed in detail the inspiration for the album, songs and artists that are part of this historic project.

“Feedback has been pouring in for weeks from listeners and music fans with congratulatory remarks about this meaningful album. So many people have poured their heart and soul into this project, so that means so much to all of us,” said Passamano.

Last month, Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) and the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum (ALLM) presented a special benefit music event for the album that was held at the Sam and Sue Mars Performing Arts Center of the Duke Hall of Citizenship. This successful event included amazing and memorable performances by some of the top talents in bluegrass music.

Radio Bluegrass International to Feature Live Studio Performance with Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out

On Friday October 12 and Sunday October 14, 2012, Radio Bluegrass International (RBI), a project of the International Bluegrass Music Museum in Owensboro, KY, will  feature a live studio performance from Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out.

The program, “Best Of Bluegrass,” hosted by Bob Mitchell, runs each Friday from 8:00 to 10:00 AM Central Time (1400 GMT) and repeats each Sundays from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Central Time (2100 GMT). Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Continue String of #1s with PRIME TYME

Band Received Nominations in Nine categories to Lead
2012 International Bluegrass Music Awards

Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce RUSSELL MOORE & IIIRD TYME OUT continue their string of #1s on the radio charts with their 2012 IBMA Nominated Album of the Year, PRIME TYME.  The band hit the #1 spot for the fourth time this year on the Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine Top 15 Album Chart for February, April, May & September.

PRIME TYME also appeared as the #1 Album on the Bluegrass Music Profiles Top 10 CD chart four times (Dec.  2011 and January, March, April 2012) and hit #1 on SiriusXM Radio Bluegrass Junction’s Most Played Albums (January and February).

The band’s hit song, Pretty Little Girl From Galax was #1 on the Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine Top 30 Song Chart in July and August of this year, garnered the #1 spot on the Bluegrass Today Top Song Weekly and Monthly Song Chart, and SiriusXM Radio Bluegrass Junction’s Most Played Tracks as well.    The song was also recently released as a music video that has proved to be a sure fire hit with their fans.

Nashville, TN (August 16, 2012)  Rural Rhythm Records is very proud to announce a total of 18 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Awards Nominations.  The nominations were announced yesterday during a press conference held at the Loveless Barn in Nashville, TN.  Winners will be announced during the IBMA Awards Show held at the legendary Ryman Auditorium on Thursday, September 27, 2012.

 

Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out received a total of 7 Nominations includinng: Entertainer of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, Song of the Year (Pretty Little Girl From Galax), Album of the Year (PRIME TYME), Instrumental Recorded Performance of the Year (Carroll County Blues), and Mandolin Player of the Year (Wayne Benson).  Four-time IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year award winner Russell Moore was again nominated in that category.

 

LIFE GOES ON by the Musicians Against Childhood Cancer garnered a total of 5 nominations with the song “Beyond the Sunset” with Doyle Lawson, Russell Moore, Jamie Dailey & Josh Swift picking up two Nominations – Gospel Recorded Event of the Year and Recorded Event of the Year.  “Manzanita by Tony Rice, Josh Williams, Aaron Ramsey, Aubrey Haynie & Rob Ickes received a nod forInstrumental Recorded Performance of the Year.  The title track, “Life Goes On” byCarl Jackson, Ronnie Bowman, Larry Cordle, Jerry Salley, Rickey Wasson, Randy Kohrs, D.A. Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out Video World Premiere Following WSM Station Inn Sessions

Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce RUSSELL MOORE & IIIRD TYME OUT will be featured on WSM Radio’s Station Inn Sessions Thursday, May 10, 2012. The show will kick off at 5:00 p.m. Central when DJ, Mike Terry will interview Russell Moore and feature the band’s #1 album PRIME TYME and #1 hit song, “Pretty Little Girl From Galax.”   At 6:00 p.m., RUSSELL MOORE & IIIRD TYME OUT will perform a live one hour concert that will air on WSM Radio and will stream live at WSMonline.com.  The event is free and fans are invited to be part of this live audience for the interview and live concert.

Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out Hit #1 on Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine’s Top 15 Albums and Top 30 Songs Chart

Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out continue to top the bluegrass radio charts with their hit new album PRIME TYME on Rural Rhythm Records.  The album is #1 on the February 2012 Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine’s (BU) Top 15 Album chart along with their single, “If Your Heart Should Ever Roll This Way Again” also reaching #1 on the BU Top 30 Songs.  Another popular song, “Pretty Little Girl From Galax” made its debut this month at #30 on the BU Top 30 Songs.
